The website www.ImageSouthAfrica.co.za was acquired in 2004 by 1st Solutions Executive Image Consultants. After recognising the possibilities and future of Image Consulting in South Africa, it became apparent that the need for such an association had arisen and it has become vital to the wellbeing of the profession. After much research, both nationally and internationally, it was decided that the SA Professional Image Consultants Association would be launched in June 2005. South Africa and organised business have been through various changes in past years and as a result, Image Consulting has come to play a vital role in the development of individuals and companies. Image Consulting has never been more relevant.
1st Solutions found Image Consulting to be misunderstood and decided to start a recognised association to ensure that the industry follows a high standard of professionalism and that the consultants involved are beyond reproach. The name of Image Consulting as a whole is at stake. By being affiliated with the association, we as Image Consultants can stand together to ensure that the profession is not discredited in any way. In the past 2 years, there has been a marked increase in the number of people calling themselves Image Consultants - individuals without any formal training or experience. This will damage the ideals that we all believe in and strive to achieve on a daily basis with clients.
As the profession is often represented by individuals, it is time that we all stand together to ensure that we take responsibility for the future of the industry and the corporate reputation that we will gain. In keeping with this, the SA Professional Image Consultants Association logo has been designed with these elements in mind.
White represents the honesty that we would like to be known for, as well as the sincerity with which we approach our clients and projects.
Blue signifies the trust that we will not allow to be broken by breaking confidentiality with our clients. Their trust in us and in the members of the profession and association, will lead to the loyalty that is essential to our professional image and the well being and future of Image Consulting.
Green represents the growth of the industry, as well as of our clients. This will result in wealth and renewal. Wealth is so often misrepresented as being of monetary value only, whereas we promote the personal development of all individuals, so ensuring their renewal and growth in all areas of their lives.

Corporate Identity
- The SA Professional Image Consultants Association logo may only be used under the guidelines of the association.
- As a member, the logo may be displayed on your letterhead, business, cards, website etc along with your own corporate identity. Please obtain a suitable copy that can be used for printing purposes.
- You must be a fully paid member of the association, and should your membership expire, you must remove all SA Professional Image Consultants Association logos from your corporate identity.
